First Day of School!

Well today is a day of firsts! It is Paige's First Day of School......Daddy took the whole day off of work so he could take her to school and also go pick her up after lunch! He called me and reported that all went well this morning - Paige was excited and ready to go. We were a little bit worried last night when she told me she was scared and didn't want to go but we talked it over and she did great this morning........the only one that cried was Karson (Bless his heart!!) Anyways dad has the camera so we will post Paiges pictures later tonight or tomorrow but we would also like to share a picture of our neice Jenny getting on the bus for her first day of School!!!

Dead Batteries :(

Well I will report that we did go to the Chase County Fair in Imperial last night and had a fun time. We met up with Randy, Penny and Chance and looked at the exibits, ate Indian Toaco's, rode on the rides and then engulfed some Funnel Cake and Cotton Candy......All in all it was a great night EXCEPT for the fact that the batteries in my camera were dead!!! Oh well we still had fun we just have no pictures to show for it. Was after 10:30 before we got the kids to bed so they were not excited to get up and going this morning untill I reminded them that Grandpa and Grandma Boettcher were comming down today for a weekend visit!!!!

August is full of Birthdays in the family!!! Today we would like to wish Happy Birthday to Anna who also happens to be Paige's God Mother! - She is 28 today! Many wishes for a wonderful day! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Fun & Games!

We had a fun weekend camping in Cambridge with Randy, Penny and Chance it rained some so it was wet and cooler. The kids played croquet and golf and then even got to go swimming! Grandma Woods and Charlie came over Saturday afternoon and spent the evening it was fun to get to see them too!

Helpful Kids!

The kids wanted to help make supper and they chose Pizza! Yum - so I got out my handy dandy Little Ceaser Pizza making kit we had bought on a McCook Band Fundraising project and let the kids go to town they got to put on the pepperoni and cheese and we also added some olives, mushrooms, hamburger and ham! It was Yummy and the kids had fun putting it all together.

The kids also had me make them a tent so they could play in it - Pretty cool huh!

New Addition to the Klan!

While the Klumpe kids were at Grandma and Grandpa's....... mom and dad went shopping! We set out to get camping supplies and ended up with a new pickup! We have been looking for something just a little bit bigger to haul the camper better, we also wanted a bench seat and cloth seats. They had what we were looking for on the lot but it was ?! PURPLE ?! Now if any of you know Gary you know he likes white but they wanted $900 more for white so we went with what they had and we both really like it - will just be harder to keep looking clean. Paige loves the color! I think I got the correct picture off the web site it is a 2008 GMC 2500!
