Wow, it has been a few days since we have updated...things have been super busy but I have no pictures to show for it.
Thanksgiving was spent at home, as Gary was on call. We did a little house cleaning and put up the Christmas Tree. We were happy to have Gary's parents and Chance come down to spend the afternoon and have supper with us!
On Friday afternoon we headed up to Spencer. I must say it was an interesting drive as Gary was trying to listen to the Husker game and drive at the same time!!! We got to Spencer just in time to have supper at the church and visit with our past pastor and his family that were back for a visit.
Saturday was spent with the Kaczor's (mom's family) at my Aunt Coke and Uncle Fred's house. Alot of the family was able to make it and we had a very fun time. We got into an eight-man Shanghi Rummy game that I lost misriably, but it was fun none the less. Karson did have a mishap on Saturday while playing with Uncle Jason and hit his head on the edge of the couch and got a big gooseegg on his forehead, but as of this morning it is still balck and blue but looks alot better.
Sunday we went to Church with the family then stayed to help decorate the church for Christmas and had lunch with everyone before we headed home. By lunch time the snow was over 4 inches deep and still snowing so it was slow going for the first 80 miles or so but we all got home safe and sound.
Yesterday Paige went back to see her EN&T Spec. Dr Connley and they rechecked her tubes and all looks well, they also redid her hearing test and she is back above the normal range so we are vary thankful of that. We also had haircuts last night and made it back to town just in time to help put that last few bulbs on the town Christmas Tree. I must say that the crew did an awesome job on the tree this year - Thanks everyone for all of your hard work!
OK that is all for now - please notice along the right side that The Boettcher Family (Todd & Steph's) have a blog now, so check it out! Cannot wait to see child #4 - we are still holding out for a little Boettcher girl!
